The magic and the comicality with a 30's style

The Show

A vintage truck, with a retro look, hides within a mysterious secret.
It's not just an ordinary van. To discover its secret just open the door, and suddenly you find yourself transported into a little cafe theater form the 1930s.

Complete with tables and chairs, antique lamps, velvet furnishings, and even tasty treats to eat and drink. decorated with old fashioned paintings of misterious performers of bygone times, Alexander the great, Thurston the mind reader, and Madame Zora who knows all...

All of a sudden, the lights go out, and a strange melody haunts the little cafe theater.
A magician appears, as if he just climbed out of one of the paintings, materializing together with his bizzare assistant to start the show. 12 minutes of magic for the the 8 dazzled spectators.

The Magic Van is a vintage Ford Transit van, whose interior has been meticulously transformed into a tiny cafe theater from the 1930s.
Inside the audience enter in small groups and take part in brief but exhilerating magic shows with an atmosphere of times gone by.
The show, together with its beautifuly decorated old van, is not only an art installation, but also a joyrney through time.

who we are

Marco Neri and Luca Regina are a versatile and multifaceted duo that has been performing for the last twenty years and more.
They are magicians and jugglers, but most of all they are skilled entertainers.
They performed all over the world, in the most various circumstances, from Mexico to Serbia, from business conventions to international galas, from TV to theatre stages.

Comedian, Magician, Presenter. A professional since 1991, has studied at the state circus school in Moscow and has performed in all the most important Street Theater Festivals in the Europe. He performed in a lot of cabaret and variety show all around the world.

Marco Neri

The shrewd steward

Juggler, acrobat ladder.

Street Perfomer since 1988, has studied at the state circus school in Moscow, specializing in juggling and acrobatic ladder. He has performed in all the italian street theater festivals and abroard in France (Eclat-Aurillac), Serbia (Festival Ulicni Novi Sad), and Mexico (La Carovana De La Risa). Works with Public and Private Organisations teaching juggling and acrobatics.

The Magic Van is born from an idea by Luca Regina and Marco Neri, who set out to create something unique in it's genere. The show was created by Luca Regina and Marco Neri, and the sceneography was designed and realized by Marco Neri.
